The latest firmware update for the Bluetooth e-Boards makes the boards fully compatible with the DGT LiveChess software for broadcasting games live via the internet. In addition it features compatibility with USB 3.0 and other minor improvements.

Today a minor update release of the DGT LiveChess software has been released. A bug with the Linux operation system and serial ports has been solved.

Since last month the new board driver is available as an official release. This driver is called RabbitPlugin. It has been optimized for Windows 7 and higher.

There are two versions available: a 32 bit and a 64 bit version. The 64 bit version is only necessary for programs that are 64 bit themselves e.g. Chessbase12 64bit, not if you are running a 64 bit MS Windows!

We are still working on the Mac OSX version of this driver.

For DGT LiveChess an experimental module is developed that makes it possible to have e-boards connected to a remote computer. These e-boards show up on a central DGT LiveChess and can be used as any e-boards inside the software.
