Can I use the board with Mac OS or Linux?.

The driver for the board is currently strictly for a Windows based platform. You can however use a virtual machine, running Windows on your Mac or Linux or Unix system.
There is an open source project that has the drivers for connecting the board with a Mac, Linux or Unix machine. Have a look in the Developers section of our Support. Here you find an article about the driver and a link to the Open Source Project.
