How can I use the DGT board with Dasher to play on Internet Chess Club?
Choose "Settings" from the "Edit" menu.
Select the "playing 2" tab
Check the box before "Enable DGT integration"
Check the box "Show Configuration"
The configuration Window of the DGT board will look like this picture. The connection tab is chosen here.
If you do not have a connection immediately, it may be necessary to choose a different COM port number. Only valid COM ports are shown in the drop down menu.
You only have to check this once. Every new start of Dasher will connect the board automatically with the latest settings, until you disable it in the settings of Dasher like in the picture above.
You can find more information of you board in this driver window. Also there are several options that you can change. You will find more information in the help tab of the driver.
DGT on national TV

On Sunday 20th May DGT will feature in the program “City News” on Dutch national TV channel RTL4. The program puts the city of Enschede in the spotlight and DGT will be shown as one of the city’s success stories.

Op zaterdag 31 maart a.s. zal ronde 8 van de KNSB competitie worden gespeeld. Bij DGT zullen dan ESGOO1 en ESGOO2 hun wedstrijden spelen. ESGOO1 speelt tegen En Passant. En dat wordt de wedstrijd om het kampioenschap van groep 1A en de promotie naar de Meesterklasse volgend seizoen! En Passant staat eerste, ESGOO1 tweede. Beide hebben evenveel matchpunten, maar En Passant (uit Bunschoten-Spakenburg) heeft veel meer bordpunten. De verwachting is dat En Passant in een zo sterk mogelijke opstelling met meerdere grootmeesters en internationaal meesters uit de Nederlandse top ESGOO1 zal willen verslaan.
