Chess Tournament for Companies 2011

DGT took part with two teams in this years Chess Tournament for Companies. The tournament was held on Friday March 11th 2011 in the Town Hall of Hengelo with a total 49 teams with 4 players each.
DGT at Essen Toy Fair

DGT will be present at the Spiel'11 Toy Fair in Essen, Germany from October 20th-23rd 2011.
Please vise the DGT team at Hall 4, Stand 222 to check out the latest colorful multiplayer game timers. The playful DGT Cube and DGT Pyramid will be available to Toy Fair visitors with a special Toy Fair discount of 25%.

On Sunday 20th May DGT will feature in the program “City News” on Dutch national TV channel RTL4. The program puts the city of Enschede in the spotlight and DGT will be shown as one of the city’s success stories.

The new and innovative DGT Live Chess software was released in September 2011 to replace existing tournament manager software.

On Sunday October 9, Gary Kasparov and Nigel Short will play 8 blitz games in the city hall of Leuven, Belgium. The games will be broadcasted live using DGT LiveChess. Furthermore the games will be live streamed on the internet.
